Job summary

Quick Custom Intelligence is seeking a software specialist to perform high-level SQL development for internal and client teams. You will create stored procedures, tables, databases, and indexes, while maintaining and updating software to meet customer and company needs.

The role requires experience with casino gaming systems, extensive SQL, and familiarity with Python. You will troubleshoot, deploy tools and processes, and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with others.

Qualifications

Extensive experience using SQL.
Experienced in SQL development.
Experience using Python preferred.
Experience with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering.
Experience managing large-scale software projects.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Software Engineering, Software Programming, or related field preferred; however relevant job experience may be substituted for education.
Knowledge of and/or experience working with Casino Gaming Industry Systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide high-level SQL development to team members and customers.
Create stored procedures, tables, databases, and indexes for use with software.
Maintain software and create updates regularly to address customer and company concerns.
Test and evaluate new programs.
Identify areas for modification in existing programs and develop these modifications.
Deploy software tools, processes, and metrics.
Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch.
Research, develop, implement, and manage software that meets needs of the company.
Troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently.
Implement software abiding by data privacy requirements of customers.
Improve business software processes and interactions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
