Job summary

Apptad Inc. is seeking an experienced SQL / Data Analyst in Boston, MA, to join our financial services technology team. The role focuses on SQL development, data modeling, data quality validation, and Unix/Linux scripting, with collaboration across business and technical stakeholders.

You will work with Sybase, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server, write efficient queries, validate data integrity, and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to deliver reliable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of financial services technology experience.
• Hands-on SQL development and data modeling.
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting and Python.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and optimize SQL queries for data analysis.
• Work with relational databases (Sybase, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Analyze financial services data and investigate data quality issues.
• Perform data modeling and support database development.
• Use Unix/Linux shell scripting, Bash, and Python for data processing.
• Analyze API requests/responses using APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, JSON.
• Define, validate, and implement data quality rules and controls.
• Gather business requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Follow software development best practices and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
