Job summary

Ole Tyme Produce Inc. seeks a qualified SQF Practitioner to lead and continually improve our SQF, HACCP, and related food safety programs. You will promote a strong food safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and support audits.

The role requires certification as SQF Practitioner and PCQI, plus experience in audits, policy development, and staff training. If you are detail‑oriented and collaborative, this is a great fit for St. Charles, MO.

Qualifications

• 27 years of experience in food safety or QA in a related role.
• Certified SQF Practitioner.
• PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) certification.
• Solid knowledge of SQF, HACCP, Food Defense, GMPs, sanitation, allergen control, and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, QA, Food Safety, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SQF, HACCP, Food Defense, Recall/Recovery, Crisis Management, and other food safety programs.
• Lead SQF certification efforts, including audits and third-party/regulatory audits.
• Conduct inspections, internal audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain food safety policies, SOPs, SSOPs, and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Provide training and coaching on SQF, HACCP, Food Defense, sanitation, and allergen control.
• Monitor safety data, trends, and corrective actions; report to management.
• Advise Senior Management on food safety performance and improvement opportunities.
