An established Sportswear brand located in New York City is currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Missy Sportswear designer to join their team. Must have cut & sew knit, sweater and woven experience. You will have a diverse range of projects, collaborating with a dynamic team of professional’s to share your enthusiasm for innovation and creativity.

Key Requirements:

• Sportswear, Knits, Sweater, and woven experience: We need someone well-versed in various fabric types, with a deep understanding of their characteristics and design potential.
• Garment construction knowledge: Familiar techniques and the ability to apply them creatively in your designs.
• Fabric direction and mood boards: You'll be responsible for setting the vision and direction for our fabric choices and creating mood boards that capture the essence of each collection.
• Handle production fit and approval process: An understanding of the entire production process, from fit samples to final approval, ensuring our garments are of the highest quality.
• Apparel expertise: A strong background in apparel design, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating garments that are both stylish and comfortable.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative and trend-setting sportswear collections.
