Job summary

HKS, Inc. is seeking a Project Architect to lead design teams and manage implementation documentation for complex sports projects in Chicago, with additional locations in Richmond and New York.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture and architectural registration required.
• Typically 8+ years of experience in architectural practice.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Leads consultants and technical team efforts to execute project design and prepare implementation documents.
• Develops and manages production schedules with PIC/PM and meets deadlines.
• Prepares, reviews and coordinates implementation documents, ensuring QA/QC compliance.
• Coordinates with project teams and external consultants to integrate engineering systems.
• Mentors staff, promotes design excellence, and pursues business development opportunities.
