Job summary

Gilbane Building Company in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Sports to lead large-scale, high-visibility sports facilities projects. You will set strategic direction, oversee safety, schedule, cost control, and team performance on venues such as stadiums and arenas.

The ideal candidate brings 8-10+ years of project management on sports facilities, a degree in Engineering or Construction Management, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive project success

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 8-10+ years of project management experience on sports facilities projects.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops the project safety plan with safety teams and leads on-site safety.
• Develops controls and procedures to manage complex project requirements.
• Manages project financial forecast, notices, and billings to meet contract requirements.
• Creates and manages a project-specific quality plan and closeout plan.
• Leads subcontracting strategy and buyout processes.
• Mentors team members and fosters a positive, inclusive environment.
• Develops CPM schedule and coordinates constructability reviews.
