Job summary

UTA seeks a Senior Associate for our Sports Group’s communications team, reporting to the Vice President, Communications. The role executes external and internal communications and media relations for UTA’s sports arm and clients, supporting internal corporate communications and women’s sports clients.

You will pitch and secure media coverage across regional and national outlets, craft messaging, and collaborate with agents, executives, and marketing teams to drive audience engagement year-round.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or marketing in-house or at an agency.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft clear messaging.
• Experience with media relations for sports leagues/teams or top media brands preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Pitch and secure media coverage regionally and nationally for Sports Group clients.
• Create pitches, press releases, advisories, newsletters, memos, talking points and social copy.
• Support internal and corporate communications and executive communications.
• Coordinate interview logistics and manage media databases and placements.
