Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Splunk Engineer to maintain and enhance our enterprise Splunk infrastructure in a national security context. The role focuses on administration of Splunk deployments, OS and application layers, and supporting Splunk Enterprise Security.

You will upgrade, patch, troubleshoot, and optimize performance while communicating with government and contractor teammates. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required, along with a bachelor's degree and extensive SE experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with Splunk in planning and leading Systems engineering tasks.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with SE experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the enterprise Splunk infrastructure.
• Manage administration of Splunk deployments across OS and application layers.
• Support Splunk Enterprise Security.
• Apply upgrades and patches to keep systems current.
• Troubleshoot logs and communicate with government and contractor teams.
• Analyze and resolve system performance issues and bottlenecks.
• Design solutions by analyzing stakeholder requirements.
• Modernize Splunk by designing architectures, ingest, data modeling, and dashboards.
