Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SIEM or Splunk.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication under pressure.
• Proficiency in SPL (Splunk Processing Language).
• Strong networking, firewall, EDR, and cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and security standards (NIST/HIPAA/SOC 2).
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Cybersecurity/IT or related field.
• Certifications such as Splunk Core Certified User or Advanced Power User are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Threat Detection & Monitoring: Continuously monitor network, endpoint, and cloud events for threats.
• Splunk Management: Create and tune correlation searches, alerts, and dashboards.
• Incident Response: Investigate incidents, gather forensic evidence, and remediate threats.
• Use Case Development: Develop detection/response playbooks using threat intel and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Log Integration: Onboard data sources; ensure log parsing and normalization.
• Compliance & Reporting: Support audit readiness with SIEM controls documentation.
