Job summary

TechDoQuest is seeking a skilled Splunk engineer to administer Splunk Enterprise and SPL-based solutions. You will optimize data ingestion, parsing, indexing, and retention while building dashboards, alerts, and data models.

The role includes scripting with Python and Bash, SimpleXML, and contributing to automation and CI/CD initiatives. You will collaborate with clients to implement scalable Splunk architectures, perform upgrades, and provide knowledge transfer to project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security.
• Onboarding and integrating enterprise apps and data sources into Splunk.
• Developing searches, dashboards, alerts, reports, and data models.

Responsibilities

• Administrate, configure, maintain, and support Splunk platforms and apps.
• Onboard and integrate enterprise data sources with proper ingestion and parsing.
• Develop and maintain SPL searches, dashboards, and operational content.
• Provide technical guidance and participate in upgrades and automation.
• Troubleshoot issues, document procedures, and mentor team members.
