Job summary

RavenTek is seeking a Senior Splunk Systems Administrator to support SITEC at MacDill AFB. You will install, monitor, maintain, and upgrade the Splunk platform, configure new data inputs, and ensure scalable, secure operations 24x7 across USSOCOM networks.

The role requires hands-on administration, data onboarding, and performance tuning, with a focus on security, compliance, and efficient incident response. On-site at MacDill AFB, with a full-time schedule and TS/SCI-related responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• 5-10 years of relative experience.
• DoD 8570.01M IAT II certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Install updates and patches on the Splunk platform.
• Create alerts and notifications for unusual activity or failures.
• Maintain documentation of configurations and changes.
• Troubleshoot system issues to identify root causes.
• Analyze data to identify patterns and trends.
• Provide end-user support for system issues.
• Audit and review security practices to prevent incidents.
• Submit timesheets at end of pay period.
• Submit Monthly Status Reports (MSR) to Project Manager by COB.
• Complete required compliance training.
• Monitor RavenTek email at least 3 times per week.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
