Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in logging and monitoring engineering.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with large scale Splunk solutions.
• 1 year experience in Hadoop technology configuration preferred.
• Good understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform all administration and management tasks related to Splunk, Hadoop, EMC Smarts.
• Execute standard procedures for content and lifecycle management.
• Report weekly on indexing, search, and alert usage.
• Document issues/resolutions via ticket system.
