Job summary

KData Inc. is seeking a Senior Metrics Design & Reporting Specialist – Splunk to translate complex risk data into actionable metrics, dashboards, and reporting narratives in a remote, high-visibility role.

You will partner with leadership, engineering, risk, compliance, and audit to design metrics frameworks that drive informed decisions, demonstrate controls assurance, and align with regulatory requirements across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Advanced SPL and Splunk dashboarding skills.
• Strong coding in Python, Scala, Java, or SPL with production-grade code focus.
• Experience with enterprise visualization tools (Splunk, ELK Stack, Tableau).
• Solid foundation in relational database design, SQL querying, data modeling, and NoSQL data stores.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration platforms like Apache Airflow and Prefect.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement end-to-end IT, security, and compliance metrics across enterprise systems.
• Build dashboards and reports in Splunk that turn complex datasets into clear narratives.
• Write clean, maintainable code and build automated data pipelines using workflow tools.
• Translate technical and risk concepts into executive-ready insights for leadership and auditors.
• Map technical controls to industry frameworks like NIST CSF 2.0, OSFI B-13, CIS Controls, CSA.
