Job summary

Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group seeks a Splunk ITSI Subject Matter Expert to lead design, implementation, and optimization of advanced Splunk monitoring in a complex DoD environment. This hands-on role requires architecting innovative solutions, integrating new data sources, and driving Splunk ITSI adoption across the enterprise.

You will work with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure aligned monitoring capabilities and operational readiness, including configuring

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• IAT II (Security+) or higher-level certification required.
• Strong knowledge of the DoD Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) framework, especially the VDMS and enterprise log management standards.
• Hands-on Splunk ITSI implementation in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, and optimize Splunk within the DoD SCCA VDMS to support enterprise-wide log management and telemetry collection.
• Integrate Splunk observability with DoD cloud broker frameworks for multi-cloud visibility.
• Design and implement new monitoring, observability, and service intelligence capabilities beyond existing platforms.
• Build and maintain Splunk ITSI dashboards and KPIs for real-time operational visibility.
• Develop service health models, dependencies, and entity relationships to improve reliability.
• Troubleshoot Splunk and ITSI issues and optimize platform performance.
