Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a data analytics professional to deliver dedicated service to healthcare clients across med/surgical, pharmacy, lab, IT, and facilities.

You will collaborate with the Spend Management team to identify savings opportunities, implement value-driven strategies, and enhance contract penetration across multiple locations in Irving, TX. You will manage data workflows, develop Tableau dashboards, and support quarterly business reviews, ensuring data accuracy and insightful

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
• 1 year of related business or supply chain experience in healthcare.
• Experience applying advanced statistical modeling to large healthcare datasets.
• Experience with data workflows for ingestion, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience designing data queries and data models for analytics.
• Experience maintaining data validation across multiple sources.
• Experience developing data visualization solutions (e.g., Tableau).
• Experience with multi-source financial and operational analysis using Excel/BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify savings within the supply chain using analytics and promote contract utilization.
• Submit contract documents and track savings opportunities with the team.
• Onboard clients and educate users on Vizient tools and solutions.
• Support QBR strategy, presentation development, and follow-up with analysts.
• Manage membership rostering, new client locations, and CRM activity tracking.
• Increase GPO contract coverage by analyzing spend and driving adoption of new contracts.
• Document savings opportunities including tier optimization and expiring contracts.
• Coordinate with suppliers and clients to present conversion and savings opportunities (NovaPlus and IMPACT).
• Serve as liaison between Vizient data intake teams and clients for accurate data submission and reporting.

Responsible for working independently to provide dedicated service to a client in the primary focus areas of med/surgical, pharmacy, lab, IT, purchased services, and facilities. Specific duties include:

• Collaborate closely with a dedicated account team and Spend Management Lead to enhance contract penetration and implement value-driven strategies;
• Identify potential savings within the supply chain while promoting the utilization of supply chain contracts and programs;
• Identify and implement savings opportunities by submitting contract documents, conducting complex analytics, and collaborating with the team to track results;
• Support client engagement through onboarding, education, and ongoing utilization of Vizient tools and solutions;
• Partner with Spend Management Lead and analysts on Quarterly Business Review (QBR) strategy, presentation development, and follow-up;
• Manage membership rostering, new client locations, and ensure accurate activity tracking in the CRM system;
• Increase GPO contract coverage by analyzing client spend, supplier purchases, and driving adoption of new contract opportunities;
• Document and monitor savings opportunities, including tier optimization, LOC/LOP execution, and expiring contract processes;
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and product advisors to vet and present conversion and savings opportunities, including NovaPlus and IMPACT programs;
• Act as a liaison between Vizient data intake teams and clients to ensure accurate data submission and reporting.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field and 1 year of related business or supply chain experience in the healthcare industry. Must also have 12 months of demonstrated experience with each of the following:

• Applying advanced statistical modeling and analytical techniques to large-scale healthcare or supply chain datasets to identify savings opportunities and drive measurable financial outcomes;
• Working with large and complex datasets, including developing and managing data workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and analysis using programming or analytics tools;
• Designing and optimizing data queries, data models, and data processing workflows to support accurate, efficient, and scalable analytics;
• Managing data intake, validation, and reconciliation processes across multiple data sources to ensure data quality and consistency;
• Developing and maintaining data visualization solutions (e.g., Tableau or similar tools) to support performance monitoring and executive reporting;
• Performing multi-source financial and operational analysis within a healthcare or similar environment using Excel and/or business intelligence tools.

Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Experience may have been gained before, during, or after Master's degree. Full time, position located in Irving, TX. 5% domestic travel required for team and client visits. Salary: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00/year. Visa sponsorship not available for this position.
