Job summary

Providence St Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA is seeking a Senior Speech-Language Pathologist for per diem, day shift. You will complete evaluations, develop written treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapies to improve patients' functional status in collaboration with the care team.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited program, California SLP licensure, BLS certification, and several years of rehab/acute/outpatient experience, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Master's Degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• 4 years of experience combined rehab, acute, and outpatient proficiency.
• 2 years of experience in the specialty practice areas.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Staff Speech-Language Therapist evaluates patients and develops written treatment plans.
• Provides ongoing treatments designed to improve patients' functional status in collaboration with the care team.

Senior Speech Language Pathologist – Per Diem, Day Shift – St Joseph Hospital, Eureka, CA

The Senior Staff Speech-Language Therapist (ST) is responsible for completing evaluations, developing written treatment plans, and providing ongoing treatments designed to improve the patient's functional status in conjunction with overall treatment objectives. The role meets all clinical, organizational, and position requirements as defined in the Speech Therapy policies for Scope of Practice and Professional Standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Speech Therapy; graduation from an accredited college or university.
• Master's Degree in Speech Therapy; graduation from an accredited college or university.
• Continued continuing education requirements for licensure renewal.
• California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• 4 years of experience combined rehab, acute, and outpatient proficiency.
• 2 years of experience in the specialty practice areas.
