Job summary

Pinnacle Specialty Group, Inc. is seeking Principal Mechanical Engineers for the Projects Equipment Design Engineering organization. You will create design and procurement documents for glovebox systems, furnaces, and high vacuum equipment, and perform related calculations and analyses.

The role requires ABET-accredited engineering degree and extensive experience in machine design, with leadership of cross-discipline teams. Office environment with full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
• 10+ years of design/specification experience with custom mechanical equipment.
• Experience writing detailed procurement and design specifications for custom equipment.

Responsibilities

• Create design and procurement documents for specialty equipment.
• Develop equipment specifications and datasheets.
• Perform calculations/analysis (FEA, structural/seismic, heat transfer).
• Lead multi-discipline teams across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation/controls, HVAC, piping, and welding.
