Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Senior Specialist, Clinical Development to advance transcatheter mitral and tricuspid therapies. You will act as an SME, providing hands-on clinical engagement, procedural education, and cross-functional collaboration with physicians, R&D, and commercial teams across nationwide travel.

The role is on-site in Irvine, CA with up to 50% travel. Strong clinical knowledge, engineering/science background, and experience in procedural education are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific field; 4 years of experience in industry or education
• Master's degree or equivalent in engineering or scientific field; 3 years of experience in industry or education
• Experience with clinical settings and cross-functional collaboration is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide SME support for transcatheter therapies through hands-on clinical engagement and procedural education
• Support complex research cases with investigators, hospital staff and study coordinators; deliver on-site guidance during implants
• Document observations and assist with enrollment discussions, issue escalation, and post-procedural insights
• Develop materials and education on device handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques
• Coordinate clinical imaging training and contribute to design control and trial documentation
