Job summary

Entegris in Danbury, CT seeks a Senior Specialist, Plant Finance to provide financial decision support for assigned plants and partner with Plant Management in the Materials Solutions division. You will assist in cost accounting processes and deliver operational analyses to drive improvements.

You’ll support monthly/annual forecasting, budgeting, standard costing updates with Operations, and month-end closes ensuring GAAP compliance; travel to other sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3–5 years of experience.
• Financial modeling and analysis experience.
• Cost accounting knowledge in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal control concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Proficient SAP, Excel and PowerPoint; Business Objects and/or SAP BPC a plus.
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate financial analysis clearly to non-financial partners.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret financial results and provide actionable feedback/recommendations for management.

• Ensure plant forecasts and budgets align with goals.
• Support establishment of standard costing rates and cost roll updates with Operations.

• Complete month-end close tasks ensuring GAAP compliance including inventory valuations.

Senior Specialist, Plant Finance

The Role:

We are seekingaSenior Specialistto join our team to help supportsitesinDanbury, CT, Aurora, IL, Green Bay, WI, Billerica/Bedford, Ambler, Riegelwood, Toronto, and Chaska.The SeniorSpecialistprovides financial decision support for the assigned manufacturing plants and is a key business partner to Plant Management in theMaterials Solutions(MS)Division.The individual's responsibilities are toassistin the maintenance of theplant cost accounting processes and to provide operational/cost accounting analysis in support of plant operations. This position will report tothePlant Finance Lead.

WhatYou'llDo:

• Analyze,understandand interpret financial results; provide insightful and actionable feedback/recommendations for management inidentifyingopportunities for improvement.

• Supportmonthly/annualforecasting/budgeting;

• Ensure the plant financial forecasts and budgets are aligned with Operational,MSDivision and Corporate goals;

• Support the establishment ofstandard costing rates and partner with Operations to update material cost, BOM and routings for cost roll;

• Support and review proposedproductivity projects;

What We Seek:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Financewith 3-5years experience;

• Financialmodeling andanalysis experience;

• Cost accounting knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred;

• Knowledgeofgenerally acceptedaccounting principles (GAAP) and internal control concepts;

• Strong analytical andproblem solvingskills;

• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic global environment;

• Proactive, future-looking, positive attitude;

• Proficient SAP,Exceland PowerPoint skills; Business Objects and/or SAP BPC a plus;

• Strong communicationskills; ability to summarize and clearly communicate financial analysis tonon-financial business partners.

* Compensation: $85,000.00-$114,000.00 a year with actual pay dependent on candidate's overall skills for the role
