Entegris, Inc. seeks a Senior Specialist, Operations Program Manager to coordinate a portfolio of operational programs and drive cross-functional initiatives within Specialty Chemicals.

The role supports the Technical Program Manager, tracks milestones, and reports KPIs to leadership. Based primarily in Toronto with potential Ambler, PA placement, it requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and hands-on ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of program or project management experience in manufacturing, semiconductor materials, specialty chemicals, or a technically complex B2B environment.
• Experience with NPI, manufacturing scale-up, commercialization, or capital project execution is preferred.
• Strong program management fundamentals: planning, milestone tracking, risk management, cross-functional follow-up.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and own workstreams when needed.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to consolidate inputs and translate updates into business messages.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; Power BI, MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, SAP or similar systems is a plus.
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute a portfolio of operational programs and projects, defining scope, timelines, milestones, and accountability.
• Lead selected initiatives or workstreams with dedicated ownership and ensure on-time delivery.
• Support cross-functional programs under guidance while independently leading smaller projects and continuous improvement efforts.
• Drive stage-gate processes and cross-functional execution; track deliverables, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Maintain governance tools: charters, risk registers, RAID logs, decision logs, action trackers.
• Coordinate R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, and Quality teams for alignment.
• Prepare materials for BOR and program reviews; consolidate updates and follow up actions.
• Support NPI execution for internal launches and track readiness milestones.
• Track KPIs, milestones, resources, risks, and benefits for decision-support.
• Assist with business cases, prioritization, capital inputs, and post-completion benefit tracking.
• Support external customer sampling and alignment with customer requirements.
• Partner with Finance to track cost performance, ROI, and benefits against targets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of program management practices and tools.

Job Title: Senior Specialist, Operations Program Manager

Job Description: The Role Across industries, specialty chemicals are enabling breakthroughs in performance, purity, and process efficiency. Entegris is at the forefront of this transformation, expanding its Specialty Chemicals business across high-growth markets including Life Sciences, Advanced Catalysts, and Semiconductor applications to support some of the world’s most innovative manufacturers. To accelerate this momentum, Entegris is currently seeking a Senior Specialist, Operations Program Manager, to join our Specialty Chemicals Team. This position will be primarily based in Toronto, ON, with the potential to be based in our Ambler, PA facility. The Program Manager, Operations will play an important role in advancing this high-growth business by supporting the Technical Program Manager in driving execution discipline across strategic operational programs, capital and capability initiatives, internal readiness activities, and select customer-facing priorities. Reporting to the Supervisor, R&D Program Management, this role will provide structured program support, coordination, follow-up, and governance while also leading selected initiatives or workstreams where dedicated ownership is required. The position will help ensure business-critical initiatives progress on schedule, within scope, with clear accountability, and with measurable impact on revenue growth, customer commitments, operational reliability, and market expansion. Success in this role requires strong program and project management fundamentals, the ability to organize and influence cross-functional teams, and the business acumen to connect operational execution with Specialty Chemicals’ commercial priorities. The ideal candidate will bring analytical rigor, strong communication skills, and a hands-on support mindset, while being comfortable stepping forward to lead defined initiatives, drive accountability, and strengthen execution maturity across a complex, fast-paced, and technically demanding business.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Technical Program Manager in coordinating and executing a portfolio of operational programs and projects, helping define scope, timelines, milestones, resource needs, and accountability from initiation through completion.
• Lead selected initiatives, workstreams, or follow-up actions where dedicated ownership is required, ensuring progress is maintained and deliverables are completed on time.
• Support complex, cross-functional programs under the guidance of the Technical Program Manager while independently leading smaller projects, workstreams, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help drive structured stage-gate processes and cross-functional execution by tracking deliverables, identifying risks, escalating issues, and supporting timely mitigation plans.
• Maintain program governance tools, including project charters, risk registers, RAID logs, decision logs, and action trackers to improve transparency, accountability, and execution discipline.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, and Quality to ensure alignment, follow-through, and clear communication across key initiatives.
• Support Business Opportunity Reviews (BOR) and program review cadences by preparing materials, consolidating updates, documenting decisions, and following up on key actions.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) execution for internal launches, helping track technical maturity progression, commercialization milestones, readiness actions, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Track and report program KPIs, milestones, resource allocation, risk status, and benefit realization to provide the Technical Program Manager and leadership team with clear visibility for decision support.
• Assist with business cases, project prioritization, capital and resource allocation inputs, and post-completion benefit tracking.
• Support external customer partner sampling and coordination for select externally-facing programs, ensuring alignment between internal execution and customer requirements.
• Partner with Finance and functional stakeholders to track program cost performance, ROI, and benefit realization against AOP and forecast targets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in program management practices, tools, and processes across the organization, helping strengthen execution capability and maturity.

• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to consolidate inputs, track risks and KPIs, document decisions, and translate updates into clear business messages.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Visio, SAP, or similar systems is a plus.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential is preferred but not required.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on, with strong ownership and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
