Southern California Edison is seeking a Senior Specialist, Major Projects - Construction Project Management Support in Pomona, CA, with hybrid work options. The role supports planning through execution of capital utility construction projects and interfaces with cross-functional teams. Up to 10% travel and CA residency are expected.

The position emphasizes data integrity, scheduling, reporting, and professional project management practices across lifecycle activities.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of project support experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, management, finance, engineering, or related field.
• PMP and/or CAPM certifications.
• Experience supporting full lifecycle of large capital utility construction projects.
• Strong project coordination, meeting facilitation, stakeholder communication, and action item management skills.
• Advanced reporting, schedule, cost, and project controls support experience.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Support pre-construction and construction planning, supervise action items, and maintain data integrity.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams often 30+ members.
• Assist with progress reports, metrics, schedules, budgets; provide status to leaders.
• Establish, present, and apply project procedures to ensure policy compliance.
• Use Microsoft Project to maintain complex project schedules.
• Craft and manage documentation with version control and secure storage.
• Develop presentations for management and executives to approve project gates.
• Manage complex project activities, lead change management, and handle drawings/submittals.
• Protect company data and ensure cybersecurity and privacy.
