Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Senior IT Specialist to lead server delivery cloud services, automation, and disaster recovery across on‑prem and cloud platforms. You will coordinate mergers and acquisitions integrations and ensure patch baselines and configuration management.

The role requires VMware Tanzu, Zerto, Veeam, SolarWinds, and scripting skills; on‑call rotation; strong collaboration with IT teams; Bachelor degree and 5–8+ years experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with VMware Administration / Configuration 7.x, 8.x.
• Experience with Containerization technology; VMWare Tanzu.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Microsoft / Linux Server OS implementation / configuration.
• Experience with Replication services: Veeam Backup and recovery, SRM / Storage replication services / Zerto.
• Experience with Solar Winds for server monitoring and availability.
• Experience with scripting and automation routines for standardized deployments and configurations.
• Experience with Infrastructure design, implementation, documentation, and disaster recovery.
• Must follow change guidelines and after hour maintenance windows.

• Delivery of IT service Management to ensure the timely delivery and resolution of incident and problems.
• On-Call 24/7 rotation for emergencies or operational assistance.

++Summary:++

This position is for a Senior Specialist Server Delivery Cloud Services. This Individual will work with the team on the implementation of server delivery cloud services using standard tools to automate the provisioning and configuration management of Virtual Server and Application Containers Infrastructure. This position will work to ensure all operational patches and baseline levels are maintained across all cloud platforms. This individual will lead in project implementations including integrations arising from mergers and acquisitions, as well as Business Continuity solutions.

++Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:++

• The Senior IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
• The Lead IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
• The Principal IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant job related experience

++Preferred Qualifications:++

• ITIL V3 / ITSM – Must work within the Incident / Change / Problem mgmt. framework.
• Understanding of Microsoft Hyper-V.
