Job summary

NKSFB, LLC is seeking a Senior Insurance Specialist to manage client insurance portfolios, advise on risk management, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will support the Insurance Department Managers and specialize in day-to-day insurance needs for clients in a high-volume environment.

You will handle communications with brokers, process claims, and contribute to audits and policy maintenance using Applied Epic. A strong analytical mindset and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of commercial and personal lines of insurance.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• 5+ years of insurance experience, preferably on the broker side or in entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Correspond with brokers/companies and internal teams on day-to-day client needs.
• Manage insurance claims from filing to closure and communicate with adjusters.
• Review general liability and workers' comp audits and payroll reports for accuracy.
• Create and maintain insurance files and correspondence in Applied Epic.
• Support assigned clients and assist department managers as needed.
• Maintain updated client schedules for equipment, jewelry, and fine arts.
• Prepare summaries of insurance coverage including premium breakdowns for meetings.
• Attend prep and team meetings for assigned clients as needed.

Your Role

The Senior Insurance Specialist will manage and advise on various insurance policies, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and provide expert knowledge to clients on risk management and policy maintenance. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex insurance concepts clearly. You will handle day-to-day insurance needs for clients, manage client insurance portfolios, and support the Insurance Department Managers. This role will be for our GSO team.

What Will You Do

• Correspond/Communicate with insurance brokers and/or insurance companies as well as internal teams regarding day-to-day client emails, renewal proposals, new business, etc.
• Handle insurance claims process from start to finish, including but not limited to filing claims, filling out required forms/reports, communicating with adjusters and internal teams, documenting claim notices and overseeing claim until closure
• Complete and/or review annual general liability and workers comp insurance audits (including the review of payroll reports and ledgers for accuracy)
• Create and maintain insurance files/documents/correspondence/etc. into Applied Epic
• Handle day-to-day tasks of assigned clients and assist department manager as assigned
• Maintain updated client schedules of equipment, jewelry, and fine arts.
• Obtain or create summaries of insurance for meeting packages including premium breakdowns for all coverage lines
• Attend Prep & Team meetings for assigned clients as needed

What Will Set You Apart

• A High school diploma, or GED
• Insurance license highly recommended/preferred
• Mathematical acumen
• Prior Insurance Experience required (5+ years), preferably on the broker side and/or in the entertainment industry

Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
