Job summary

IFF is seeking a Regulatory Compliance professional for flavors, food, or chemical applications. The role focuses on regulatory reviews of raw materials, collaboration with R&D, QA, and cross-functional teams, and maintaining regulatory databases.

Strong knowledge of global flavor regulations and project management will help ensure compliant product development. Based remotely in India, the position offers opportunities for professional growth and exposure to multinational teams within a leading

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably flavors/food/chemical industry.
• Good knowledge of legal and safety aspects of flavors.
• Able to work with defined timelines and meet deadlines.
• Autonomous, positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform regulatory compliance reviews of raw materials used in flavor industry.
• Determine approval status of raw materials based on vendor documentation and regulations.
• Collaborate with R&D, Creative, QA, Production and cross-functional teams to address regulatory issues.
• Maintain and update regulatory databases for data accuracy and compliance.
• Review and interpret global regulations for proper implementation within the company.
• Support regulatory initiatives and projects as needed.
• Collaborate with R&D to assess regulatory status of new reactions, ingredients, and formulations.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Perform regulatory compliance reviews of raw materials used in flavor industry.
• Determine the approval status of raw materials based on review of vendor documentation, current company practices, and knowledge of the regulations.
• Collaborate with R&D, Creative, Quality Assurance, Production and cross-functional teams to address and resolve regulatory issues/tasks.
• Maintain and update regulatory databases to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Review and interpret global regulations to allow for proper implementation within the company.
• Support regulatory initiatives and projects as needed.
• Collaborate closely with R&D teams to accurately assess, document, and maintain the regulatory status of newly developed reactions, ingredients, and formulations.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or any other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Regulatory Compliance preferably within the flavors, food or chemical industry.
