Develop and maintain a distinguished level of expertise in the detail design practices of SEL protection and automation systems.2. Develop and maintain a distinguished level of knowledge of SEL equipment and solutions to electric power system protection and automation.3. Serve as a technical expert in the design and application of SEL equipment and solutions in a focus area\*.4. Teach, develop, mentor, and influence SEL employees and support hiring the highly qualified employees.5. Work within the project team to develop project deliverables.6. Train and assist customers with the installation, commissioning, and operation of automation and/or protection systems, both on-site and from SEL offices.7. Follows processes and recognizes the impact of problems. Creates and implements process enhancements.8. Work in a safe, healthful and environmentally sound manner, report accidents and unsafe conditions promptly, and perform ergonomic exercises to reduce likelihood of injuries.9. Provide support for other SEL marketing, sales, application engineering, and development activities.10. Acts as a mentor to specialists and technicians.11.
