Job summary

SOSi is seeking a Senior Special Security Technician (SST) to manage SCIF operations, safeguard SCI materials, and maintain program policy compliance. The SST will oversee the SCI security program, conduct briefings, and certify visitor clearances across facilities under the organization’s cognizance.

Responsibilities include daily security checks, access control management, incident response, and meticulous security logs.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance. CI Poly sought or willing to submit.
• 12+ years of experience in physical and information security.
• Experience developing, implementing, and enforcing security programs.
• Experience in security education and training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise annual self-assessments and report findings.
• Assist with investigation of unauthorized disclosure of classified information.
• Conduct SCI security education and training programs.
• Validate DD Form 254s and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Manage facility access control: enroll personnel, issue badges, assign permissions.
• Perform daily security checks: doors, IDS, alarms; ensure proper function.
• Respond to, investigate, and document security alarms and anomalies.
• Escort and monitor un-cleared personnel inside the building.
• End-of-day checks: secure classified materials and arm systems.
• Manage inventory and destruction of classified IT media.
