Region 14 Education Service Center seeks a Consultant for Complex Access Needs to lead program planning and support school districts serving students with complex access needs. You will develop appropriate educational programs, apply research-based strategies, and collaborate with LEAs to implement effective supports.
The role requires a master's degree, Texas SPED certification or related licensure, and at least 5 years experience with complex access needs, including assistive technology usage
Competenze
- Master's degree required.
- Texas Special Education certificate or related licensure.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with complex access needs.
- Experience using assistive technology with students with complex access needs.
- Knowledge of state and federal special education laws.

- Determines student needs and applies research-based strategies and programs.
- Relates objectives to center-wide goals and maintains documentation of progress.
- Responds to LEA requests with technical assistance through classroom visits and follow-up services.
- Demonstrates cooperation with other ESC components and uses available resources effectively.
