Job summary

Hovercraft is a dynamic creative design firm seeking a Senior Spatial Designer to craft brand experiences for retail pop-ups, activations, and workplace design. Multidisciplinary candidates in graphics or animation are encouraged to apply.

Portfolio should show strong execution, taste, and conceptual thinking across sportswear, fashion, sport, music, and outdoor industries. Ideal candidates communicate well, collaborate in teams, and push the boundaries of what’s possible to deliver

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in spatial design, retail design and/or experiential design.
Proficiency in SketchUp as a primary tool.
Rendering capabilities are a plus, but not required.
Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Creative Cloud.
Strong portfolio showing fundamentals, attention to detail and high-level execution in brand experience work.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on concepting and ideation to shape the consumer journey and experience.
Develop designs through mood boards, sketches, 2D/3D layouts, and material palettes; rendering skills a plus.
Create environmental graphics, scenic elements, and merchandising details that bring spaces to life.
Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure clear communication, quality execution, and smooth delivery.
Present work to clients and teammates, incorporating feedback and travel for site visits or installs (1-3x per year).
