Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to contribute to data engineering and analytics initiatives in the US. You will drive requirements, design, coding, reviews, testing, and training across the SDLC, ensuring robust, scalable software solutions.

The role requires experience with Spark/Hadoop ecosystems, NoSQL databases, and strong scripting with Python/SQL. Relocation/travel may be needed; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Relocation and/or travel to work/project location may be required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features into existing applications with a focus on stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
