Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in the US to contribute to the DNA data and analytics initiatives. You will drive requirements, design software with the team, and code updates while ensuring system stability.

The role covers end-to-end SDLC and collaboration with cross-functional teams across data platforms. You will work on Spark/Hadoop ecosystems, NoSQL databases, and related big data tools, with travel and relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Spark/Hadoop/HDFS architecture, YARN, Confluent Kafka, HBase, Hive, Impala, and NoSQL databases.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required; will also consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• Relocation and/or travel to work/project location may be required.
• U.S. work authorization without employer sponsorship; Infosys cannot sponsor visas for this role.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features into existing applications with focus on stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold quality.
• Develop user training, documentation, and support frameworks for new software.
• Respond to production issues and propose preventive measures for reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
