Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Spark Data Engineer to design and build large-scale data processing systems for batch and streaming workloads. You will ensure scalable, high-throughput pipelines and serve as a technical anchor across projects.

You will work with Spark, Scala, Python, SQL, and cloud data platforms to deliver robust data solutions, implement workflow orchestration, and collaborate with stakeholders worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience including Spark development.
• Proficiency in Apache Spark, Scala, and Python.
• Strong ETL/ELT design and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with workflow orchestration and cloud data platforms/warehouses.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize high-performance data pipelines using distributed computing frameworks.
