Job summary

Sierra Lobo is seeking a Systems Engineer for NASA Glenn SpaceDOC-III on-site with possible remote work. The role requires 15+ years in spaceflight project engineering support, with strong documentation, requirements management and cross-discipline coordination.

The successful candidate will contribute to lunar power distribution projects, manage technical studies and reports, and help ensure on-time, on-budget deliverables. U.S. citizenship and clearance are desired.

Qualifications

• BS or higher degree in engineering (ABET-accredited) or related field.
• Spaceflight hardware development, procedures, operations, testing and reports.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; MS Project desirable.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards and practices.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and reports.
• Manage requirements and verification tracking.
• Coordinate across IPT with multiple engineering disciplines.
• Identify process improvements and implement them.
• Support development of spaceflight system narratives and drawings.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and budget tracking for projects.
• Deliver concise technical summaries to stakeholders.
