Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to lead spacecraft test integration across hardware, FPGA/firmware, and software infrastructure, supporting the TIDES environment.

You will drive development, verification, and test readiness for spacecraft payload programs and proposals. You will coordinate across STE, PIE, and SSI teams, translating requirements into test capabilities, architectures, and evidence plans, ensuring robust lab networks and automated test

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law.
• Security clearance TS/SCI preferred at time of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering with 8+ years' experience; or a Master's with 6+ years.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional technical coordination across STE, PIE, and SSI scope.
• Architect, integrate, and verify development, unit verification, production, module, power converter, NAS, and calibration test environments.
• Translate spacecraft payload and program requirements into test capabilities, measurement approaches, interfaces, verification methods, and evidence-generation plans.
• Develop engineering design packages, including top-level assemblies, ICDs, cable packages, rack architectures, RF drawer concepts, FPGA/I/O drawer concepts, calibration plans, BOMs, and test readiness artifacts.
• Coordinate FPGA and digital I/O requirements across test racks, payload interfaces, data capture paths, timing/reference distribution, and platform evolution plans.
