Job summary

Xona is seeking a Spacecraft Test Engineer to own mechanical and environmental testing across the spacecraft development lifecycle, from early R&D through first-article qualification.

You will lead first-article vibration testing and thermal vacuum campaigns, develop fixtures and data acquisition systems, and work with structures, thermal, and systems teams to validate hardware for launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical and environmental tests across the spacecraft development lifecycle.
• Lead first-article vibration testing campaigns and TVAC testing across multiple projects.
• Develop test fixtures, instrumentation, and data acquisition for space hardware.
• Translate test results into design changes and inform engineering decisions.
