Job summary

Firefly Aerospace is looking for a passionate Spacecraft Systems Engineer to develop spacecraft systems from concept through fabrication and flight. This role requires at least 6 years of hands-on experience, a BS in Aerospace Engineering, and the ability to lead project teams. Responsibilities include maintaining system designs, leading trades, and ensuring mission success. Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in project management or execution role on spacecraft.
• Experience leading interdisciplinary project teams.
• Strong working knowledge of ASME, MIL, ASTM, and/or NASA Standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain system-level designs and performance budgets.
• Lead system-level trades and design reviews.
• Facilitate change control board and risk review board.
