The role requires 8+ years in propulsion, NX CAD, Teamcenter/Windchill, and security-clearance eligibility; US citizenship. Base pay range in California is $132,000–$220,000 USD, with comprehensive benefits and a stock purchase program.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of propulsion system development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, mechatronics)
• Experience with NX CAD and PLM software (Teamcenter/ Windchill)
• Ability to review drawings, qualify flight hardware, and perform test planning

Responsibilities

• Own development of propulsion components end-to-end
• Design in CAD and perform performance calculations
• Review drawings, PMI, reports and specifications
• Plan, set up, and execute tests with data analysis
• Communicate with stakeholders internally and externally
• Make risk-based technical decisions
• Manage projects and mentor junior engineers
• Contribute to engineering process documentation
