Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. seeks an Early Power Electronics Engineer to design and deliver flight‑critical power systems for our spacecraft. You’ll influence architecture, perform trades, and contribute to hardware in a vertically integrated environment.

You will collaborate with design, test, and production engineers to push performance while meeting rigorous spaceflight requirements and schedules.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of spacecraft electronics experience.
• Experience across spacecraft power systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or a related field; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, and testing of spacecraft power systems, including power generation, energy storage, distribution, and DC‑DC conversion for harsh environments.
• Work on electrical power system and sub‑system level design trades and develop requirements.
• Perform electrical power system verification testing and analysis.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to create new power electronics hardware.
• Drive system and electrical architecture trades, product requirements, component selection, design analysis, schematic capture, prototyping, bring‑up, manufacturing planning, and production test for electrical designs.
• Learn technical leadership across the organization, manage related risk and change across the program and drive new technology introduction.
