Job summary

Front Door Defense is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Integration) to lead spacecraft integration procedures in El Segundo, California. The ideal candidate will own all integration sequences, develop assembly instructions, and manage inter-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless spacecraft assembly.

The position requires a B.S. in Mechanical or Systems Engineering and significant experience in vehicle or system-level integration roles. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills and be adept at problem-solving on the production floor.

Qualifications

• 3-6+ years of experience in vehicle or system-level integration roles.
• Strong understanding of multi-subsystem interactions.
• Ability to manage competing priorities on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Own integration procedures from subassembly mating through final vehicle closeout.
• Develop and maintain assembly travelers and integration work instructions.
• Identify and resolve interface conflicts and assembly sequence problems.
