Varda Space Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Spacecraft Embedded Software Engineer to lead the development of firmware for spacecraft, satellite buses, and reentry capsules.

You will own the software lifecycle from requirements to flight operations support, ensuring reliability and safety in orbit. Responsibilities include writing bare metal, RTOS, or Linux based code in C++ and performing rigorous testing, verification, and validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field with safety-critical software experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop reliable firmware to control spacecraft hardware across mission phases.
• Own all aspects of software development from design to integration.
• Scope projects with requirements capture and initial design trades.
• Write structured bare metal, RTOS, or Linux based software for embedded processors in C++.
• Build highly reliable software systems with robust V&V.
• Ensure system quality and performance through tests and validation.
