Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer I to lead the development and test of avionics hardware for spacecraft programs. You’ll collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines, driving HW from requirements to production, with opportunities to test on-orbit in a fast-paced environment.

We value hands-on circuit design, SPICE analysis, and clean PCB layouts. The role includes ITAR considerations and competitive benefits as part of a growing space company.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of electrical hardware design experience, including PCB layout.
• Strong background in analog electronics design.
• Proficiency with SPICE and Excel for circuit analyses.
• U.S. citizenship required due to program requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Develop PCBA requirements with other engineering disciplines.
• Capture schematics and layout PCBs using Altium Designer.
• Perform circuit analyses for power and reliability.
• Verify PCBA designs through testing and system integration.
• Provide production manufacturing support as needed.
