Job summary

Aurex seeks an engineer with deep expertise in Spacecraft Attitude Control Systems to support the Space and Launch Division in Chantilly, VA. The role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph and focuses on subsystem analysis, architecture, requirements, and verification of Attitude Control Systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• 10-15 years of professional experience.
• Experience in design & integration of satellite buses.
• Knowledge of launch and flight operations of space vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of attitude control hardware; MATLAB/Simulink, STK, Python.

Responsibilities

• Apply attitude control algorithms to ACS subsystem design and verification.
• Review contractor designs and assess operating modes for spacecraft.
• Coordinate with bus development POC and subsystem leads.
• Support factory integration and test activities and on-orbit tests.
