Job summary

Aurex is seeking a Space Vehicle Bus Systems Engineer to drive systems engineering and integration across critical spacecraft bus subsystems supporting national security missions. This role ensures subsystem performance, integration, and alignment with system-level requirements throughout the space vehicle lifecycle.

You will lead across domains such as structures, power, attitude, thermal, propulsion, communications, and data handling, participate in major program reviews (SRR through PCA),

Qualifications

• 7+ years in space vehicle systems engineering.
• Experience with at least two subsystems (structures, power, attitude, thermal, propulsion, communications, or data handling).
• 3+ years of space system and DoD program reviews (SRR to PCA).
• Experience with collaboration tools (Confluence/Jira).
• Experience analyzing IMS schedules and EVMS data.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Math/Physics/CS.
• 10+ years in space vehicle systems engineering and testing.

Responsibilities

• Drive systems engineering and integration across space vehicle bus subsystems.
• Lead across domains including structures, power, attitude, thermal, propulsion, and data handling.
• Support major program reviews (SRR, SDR, SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, PCA).
• Analyze subsystem and program-level IMS schedules and EVMS data.
• Collaborate with government clients and contractor teams to ensure integration and mission alignment.
• Support system-level testing and verification to meet mission objectives.
