Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Technology and Policy Lead to act as a senior technical leader embedded with NIC-Space/ODNI. The role involves defining priorities, guiding multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering strategic analyses for national security space programs.

You will mentor engineers, translate leadership intent into executable work, and maintain critical relationships across government and aerospace stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-ambition environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in STEM or other relevant disciplines.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible engineering, analysis, or strategic roles.
• Experience leading technical, multidisciplinary, or interagency teams.
• Experience setting priorities and translating leadership intent into executable efforts.
• Proven ability to build relations with government customers, contractors, and Aerospace offices.
• Strategic thinker who can identify patterns and trends and translate them into action.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and resource-tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a principal Aerospace technical leader and advisor to senior leaders in NIC-Space and ODNI on space program analysis, capabilities, threats, policy, and integration.
• Partner with the Systems Director to set priorities, shape the forward work plan, and allocate talent against needs.
• Lead customer-sponsored initiatives end-to-end, framing problems and driving to decision-quality results.
• Form multidisciplinary teams and integrate their work into coherent products for senior customers.
• Maintain senior-level relationships across IC and national security space organizations and interagency forums.
