Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to join our team in supporting Test and Evaluation for the USSF at the Downtown Colorado Springs office. The successful candidate will hold an active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility and work on complex space system test programs.

You will design and execute advanced test campaigns, apply design of experiments, review test documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data collection and analysis meet mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Math, Probability, Statistics or Science.
• 6+ years of experience in Operations Research and Modeling and Simulation.
• Expert knowledge of a broad range of test and evaluation (T&E) disciplines, concepts, principles, and practices.
• Knowledge of Space operations and/or orbital mechanics.
• Experience using statistical techniques for approaching complex problems with large amounts of data.
• Experience applying operations research techniques and supporting skills such as database query languages, design of experiment and response surface methodologies, scripting language programming, and development of appropriate models and simulations
• Professional knowledge of a broad range of engineering, scientific, and/or operational research disciplines, concepts, principles, and practices.
• Mastery of quantitative techniques and methods used to develop, adapt, modify, and apply models to resolve problems or define alternative solutions.
• Ability to lead and participate in study teams; originate new ideas, projects, and methodologies; and execute projects and/or studies within established financial and/or time constraints.
• An active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility is required

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of space systems tests and experiments.
• Design, develop, and execute advanced test/experimentation programs and processes to assess space systems.
• Apply design of experiments to increase test efficiency and produce actionable results.
• Review and improve test engineering documentation (test plans, briefs, reports).
• Perform pre-test analysis using data and DMAP requirements; develop go/no-go criteria.
• Collaborate with test teams to ensure data collection meets objectives.
• Support data analysis requests with senior input and quality control.
• Evaluate and improve simulations to predict system effectiveness.
• Review/test team usage of M&S data to ensure proper methods.
• Review and improve Test Reports/Presentations and data analysis tools.
