Job summary

Northwood Space is constructing a global network of next-generation ground stations and seeks a Lead Product Architect to convert customer requirements into precise product definitions—what we build, how it performs, and how it scales. You will partner with Sites, Business Development and Engineering leadership to harmonize demand, shape product direction, and drive alignment on market offerings.

This cross-functional role focuses on scalable, deployment-ready architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, physics or mathematics.
• 5–10+ years in systems engineering, solutions architecture, or technical product roles.
• Ability to communicate complex tech concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Working knowledge of RF systems, ground stations, or satellite communications.
• Demonstrated cross-disciplinary collaboration across hardware, software, and ops.

Responsibilities

• Translate network inputs into concrete product architectures.
• Define RF/system parameters and performance targets.
• Iterate architectures using simulations, link budgets, and constraints.
• Collaborate with Business Development to shape proposals.
• Align with Engineering leadership on roadmap and system definitions.
