Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in systems engineering, aerospace or related industry.
• Creative problem-solving to develop innovative solutions.
• Experience leading space system development for challenging environments.
• Experience with MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering).
• Experience with NASA/DoD lifecycle reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Experience with requirement tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced systems and solutions.
• Define system performance requirements and ensure interface compatibility.
• Analyze to optimize architecture for safety, reliability and maintainability.
• Support requirements management, risk, issues and technology readiness.
• Plan and conduct tests to verify performance criteria and regulatory standards.
• Integrate systems into spacecraft and satellites with compatible materials.
• Create and maintain detailed design and test documentation.
• Manage timelines, resources and budgets for systems tasks.
• Support business development efforts for proposals.
