Lanteris Space Systems, a subsidiary of Intuitive Machines, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the system engineering process for complex spacecraft designs and oversee verification, integration, and operations activities. The role emphasizes ConOps development, requirements management, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate applies system-level fault management and interface definition, coordinating across subsystems to ensure program success under NASA/DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, physics, or STEM field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant systems engineering experience on complex systems.
• Experience across multiple hardware and software subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Develop ConOps and use cases for spacecraft programs.
• Drive system analysis and mission-level trades.
• Decompose and flow requirements across levels (mission, system, subsystem, component).
• Manage requirements development and traceability.
• Create and maintain system compliance matrices and performance measures.
• Implement fault management architecture and strategy.
• Lead customer discussions on design decisions and interfaces.
• Define interface and operability requirements and ensure cross-subsystem alignment.
• Identify risks and drive mitigation plans to meet timelines.
• Develop and execute system validation and verification plans.
• Oversee spacecraft testing and analyze results.
• Resolve cross-subsystem technical issues and close actions.
