Job summary

Palski & Associates, Inc. is seeking a senior space systems engineer to support SSC/SZ in the Space Domain Awareness program. You will work on-site in El Segundo, collaborating with teammates and customers on a small-agile team.

Responsibilities include organizing ACAT-like design reviews, audits, and maintaining program documentation, while leveraging extensive space controls engineering knowledge to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Classified space control systems engineering experience and knowledge of requirements development.
• Experience developing and coordinating ACAT-like program documentation.
• Active TS and SCI eligibility; willingness to consent to a polygraph.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in space systems programs.

Job description

You will

Support the program office integrated product teams in the development, deployment and sustainment of USSF’s National Security Space system within Space Systems Command Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SSC/SZ) system program office.

Organize and conduct ACAT-like technical design reviews and audits and develop, updated and coordinate ACAT-like program documentation.

You have

• Highly knowledgeable of classified space control systems engineering processes and procedures, including requirements development, technical design reviews, configuration control, government deficiency review board establishment, execution and DR disposition and management.
• Experience developing, updating and coordinating ACAT-like program documentation.
• MA/MS in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical engineering, math and/or physics. A bachelor’s degree is acceptable if the candidate has at least 12 years of experience in this type of position or program.
• Active TS and SCI eligible
• Willing to consent to a Counter-Intelligence polygraph examination
• The ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of experience
