Job summary

QinetiQ US seeks an experienced Force Structure and Resource Analyst to support USSPACECOM headquarters in Colorado Springs. The role requires deep expertise in defense resource management, force structure analysis, and PPBE processes, delivering decision-ready analysis under tight deadlines.

You will develop staff packages, briefings, and cost-benefit analyses; coordinate with multiple directorates and external stakeholders, including Congress, while maintaining strict OPSEC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 10+ years in defense resource management or related field.
• Experience with PPBE process, POM, budget justification.
• Capability gap analyses and investment tradeoff studies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with classified systems (SIPRNet/JWICS).
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead force structure and resource management efforts for USSPACECOM J8.
• Develop PPBE inputs, budget exhibits, and program documentation.
• Identify resourcing shortfalls and investment opportunities.
• Coordinate planning across directorates and external stakeholders.
• Develop briefings and cost-benefit analyses for leadership and Congress.
• Staff Joint Capability Demonstrations and urgent needs with cost and structure analysis.
• Integrate financial data into resource planning and monitor expenditures.
