Rocket Lab, based in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a Senior Quality Technician to support all aspects of product quality assurance for assigned product lines. You will perform incoming inspections, laboratory tests, and review documentation to prevent nonconforming material from entering production.

You will verify CoC/CoA, conduct FAI when needed, and work with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams. Candidates should have 8+ years in manufacturing or quality roles and familiarity with

Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance processes and manufacturing environments.
• Familiar with metrology equipment and engineering drawings/GD&T.
• Ability to read instructions, write simple correspondence, and interpret data.
• Exposure to ISO-9001 and/or QS-9000 quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Perform incoming inspection of semiconductor materials and components.
• Inspect materials like substrates and aerospace components.
• Conduct laboratory measurements and visual inspections (optical, dimensional).
• Verify CoC and CoA against PO requirements and traceability.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102 when required.
• Dispositon incoming lots (accept, reject, quarantine) and update ERP/MES status.
• Identify nonconformances; raise NCRs and support MRB activities.
• Support counterfeit material prevention programs.
• Record inspection results and maintain traceability.
